About Us
Shrimath Yoga is consciously conceived to be a melting pot of, 'ashram learning, home food & retreat living.' In any batch upto 10 students study the principles and processes from the ancient Yoga tradition.
Since April 2011, students from Australia, Austria, Brazil, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Columbia, Croatia, Czechoslovakia ,Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Latvia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA etc, have been opting to study with us.
There is more to Yoga than 'just' postures and at the same time, perfection, in a few postures that suit us, is essential to understand and experience deeper practical aspects of Yoga like Pranayama, Bandha, Mudra, Mantra etc. At Shrimath, with the guidance of living traditions, the programs attempt to stike a balance between 'doing more and diving deep!'

The journey to become a yoga teacher starts with establishing a personal practice, a dedicated study of the ancient wisdom of yoga sutras, and applying their core principles in your life. Yog Nisarga’s 200-hour residential Ashtanga Vinyasa flow yoga teacher training program will help you to build a strong foundation and to deepen your practice. The course is officially recognized by Yoga Alliance USA and Yoga Alliance UK.
For twenty-five days, you will be immersed in the theory and practice of yoga, yoga philosophy, and the art of teaching. During the course, you will have the opportunity to apply the new theoretical knowledge by teaching classes to your fellow students. Since the students come from all over the world, Yog Nisarga has designed a cross-cultural friendly and adaptable program.
By the end of the course you will return home not only with useful information and new skills, but many fond memories of your time in Thailand. After completion of the course, the students are awarded the certificate of the teacher training course. This certificate is valid worldwide. You can find a job overseas, in your hometown or even start your own teaching school. Working in this area gives a total satisfaction as this is the way one can serve the community and the people.
