The eight limbs of ashtanga yoga include Yama(Principles of moral code), Niyama (Personal disciplines), Asana (Yoga positions), Pranayama (yogic breathing), Pratyahara ( Withdrawal of senses), Dharana (concentration of an object), Dhyan  (meditation), Samadhi (salvation).
