With the development of civilization, the desire to live a wealthy life is always the purpose of humans. What is Shri Yantra?

In Hinduism, one of the various ways to connect with the higher One (Isvara) is also through the mode of tool(yantra), this worship of God is known as Yantra Puja. Separate instruments have been arranged in Puranas for almost every occasion and for the worship of various deities, but Sriyantra is considered to be paramount in them. The origin of this yantra is considered by the God Shiva to be a result of a boon to Adi Shankaracharya. Shri Yantra is also a very important tool in Tantra tradition. Maha Tripura Sundari (Shodashi Devi), the presiding deity of Sri yantra has been considered, in the Vedic scriptures Mahatripura Devi(Goddess) is also known as Vidya(pure knowledge), Mahavidhya or Param Vidya(eternal knowledge). She is worshiped through this tool. Thus Sri Yantra Devi is the abode of Bhagwati Mahatripura Devi and her chariot.  In other words, the goddess has a subtle body and symbol form. In this yantra, all the deities of the universe reside under the goddess Mahatripur.

What is the importance of Shri Yantra in today’s life?
Shri Yantra liberates humans from all the problems that arise from materialism and its ill effects in the form of depression and greed for money. If this device is installed in a home or office and worshiped properly, then surely the Goddess is pleased and the worshiper is the recipient of good health, fortune, and glory. This device is also used to remove Vastu defects of home or office. By installing the Sri Yantra at the place of your residence or work, all the architectural defects can be purified.

Form & Structure

By looking at Shri Yantra, various circles are made inside it, which have a point in the center. There are nine triangles around it, five are made towards the top and four at the bottom. Structerwise Shri Dhyana Peetham is the World Biggest Sri Yantra, situated at Shree Kalyanika Himalaya Dev Sthanam Ashram, Almora in India, which weighed around 1600 KG.

People have the misconception that Shri Yantra is only one. The reality is that there are different types of Sri Yantra in which instruments made on Bhojpatra, Triloh, Tamrapatra, Silver and Gold metal are considered prominent. Apart from these, the Sri Yantra is also made of crystal and is considered very sacred and powerful. Most people chant Kamalgatta garland after worshiping the Urdhvamukhi Yantra in good auspicious time for Sphatik Shri Yantra to please Lakshmi. Apart from this, to get rid of enemies and diseases, first chanting the rosary of Rudraksha and then the Adhomukhi Sriyantra is established.
The lunar months like Vaishakh, Jyeshtha, Karthik, Magha are considered to be the best to prove this Yantra, especially on the night of Diwali, it is considered best for keeping a person financially prosperous.
