Yoga is a divine philosophy with scientific aspects. The ultimate aim of yoga is to merge your body, mind & soul to reach the complete consciousness. Yoga is a union of body, mind & soul. Yoga is an ancient scientific practice that gives physical, mental & spiritual strength to us.  Yoga is not merely a physical exercise But, it has a meditative and spiritual core also. This wisdom of Yoga was compiled & composed by sages like Patanjali, Gorakshanatha, Vyasa etc. and scripted down the great Yoga Scriptures like Yoga Sutra, Shiva Samhita, Gheranda Samhita etc.

Ashtanga Yoga: Ashtanga yoga is another beautiful form of Yoga. Ashtanga means eight branches, in this eight branches,  asana or physical yoga posture is one branch, breath or pranayama is another likewise. The ultimate purpose of the Ashtanga practice is the purification of the body and mind. Ashtanga Yoga serves lots of benefits, regular practice of Ashtanga Yoga leads to strength, flexibility, stress management, and inner peace. In the current time, Ashtanga Vinayas Yoga is quite popular. “Vinyasa Yoga” means breathing system. There many ancient Yoga Schools & ashrams in India teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.

 

Kundalini Yoga:  Kundalini Yoga also called as Laya Yoga based on the philosophy of Tantra & Shaktism. It derives its name from a focus on awakening primal energy known as Kundalini through regular practice of yoga asana, pranayama, chanting mantra and meditation. Kundalini is a spiritual energy awakened through 7 chakras. Kundalini Yoga has benefits at physical, mental & spiritual level by regular practicing of Kundalini Yoga activates the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, expands the lung capacity, and purifies the bloodstream. It heals & balances the body, mind, and soul. There many ancient Yoga Schools & ashrams in India teaches Kundalini Yoga.

The fundamental ideas behind the practicing yoga are

  • Be gentle, do not force any posture, Forcing is against nature
  • Feel complete at whatever stage of the position one can attain.
  • Completeness or union is the goal, not physical perfection of any posture

Yoga is the divine way to achieve the highest realization i.e. self-realization.
